Growing company is seeking an outstanding leader for the Director of Sales for the New Ogden Hilton Garden Inn. Located in the heart of the Junction. We are looking for a confident people person with a dynamic personality who has a proven ability to develop relationships and a strong motivation to succeed. This key position is responsible for generating top line revenue for a select service hotel by securing new accounts; maintain existing accounts and executing sales strategies to maximize the profitability of the hotel while maintaining guest satisfaction. Responsible for creating and implementing sales plan to ensure sales revenue goals are met. Maintain existing client accounts by visiting and ensuring all is well. Maintain 3rd party internet accounts to ensure we are receiving market share and rates and page placement are appropriate for season. Actively sell hotel meeting room and appropriate food and beverage to ensure sales goals are being met. Make outside sales calls within existing geographical market. Maintains accurate records of sales activities and results and analyzes period end results. Represents hotel when necessary to local communities through affiliation with professional business organizations. Develops new business through obtaining accounts from the competition, lateral development of existing accounts and contacting new customers in the market.
